AMICA: Aplicativo Web para Dispositivos Móviles de Índice de Calidad del Aire de la Ciudad de Bogotá Usando Servicios en la Nube

Abstract

Pollution generated by particulate matter of less than 10 microns (PM10), has generated a great impact within the air quality of the city of Bogota especially the sector of the industrial zone located mainly in the localities of Puente Aranda and Fontibón, for analyzing the problem was designed an adaptive Web geovisor for mobile applications called Web application for mobile devices of air quality index in Bogotá using cloud computing (AMICA), which showed the quarterly quality averages Of the air, taking as a source of information the 19 air quality stations of the district provided by the Bogotá Environmental Observatory, resulting in heat maps of the areas of influence of each station and recommendations on possible health effects, with the Purpose of serving as a tool to provide citizens with information of the district.
