Resumen
This work corresponds to educational research aimed at implementing the development of school scientific competencies through active learning activities in experimental practices on Boyle's Law, with tenth grade students from the La Amistad I.E.D school (Bogotá). The research is based on the field of natural science didactics supported by the Active Learning strategy in the teaching of chemistry, having as its object of study the pressure and volume variables enunciated in Boyle's Law. The research has a constructivist cut, within the interpretative paradigm with the action research approach, based on the active learning model, which is developed in three stages: first, the realization of a didactic unit divided into experimental stages with guidelines on the teaching of Boyle's Law using a model created by the students; second, the development of a model based on the construction of an experimental box designed with everyday materials and, third, the implementation of the two didactic tools with students. which were validated by experts from the DIDAQUIM research group. The results were systematized and analyzed with the MAXQDA® software, based on categories established from the literature review that supports this work. The categories allowed the establishment of subcategories that relate Boyle's Law with the steps of active learning, thus contributing to the construction of explanations and knowledge to account for situations of daily life as a purpose of school science.
