The image contains news about Decree number 484 issued in 1899, in which the President of the Republic officially suspends judicial proceedings in civil matters in the national territory, except for voluntary or contentious jurisdiction in which the parties agree in a manner expresses that they continue the course, crimes committed before said decree will be judged by ordinary judges in accordance with the laws in force at the time. La imagen contiene una noticia sobre el Decreto número 484 expedido en 1899, en el cual el Presidente de la República, suspende oficialmente en el territorio nacional las actuaciones judiciales en materias civiles, exceptuando la jurisdicción voluntaria o contenciosa en que las partes convengan de una manera expresa que sigan el curso, los delitos cometidos antes de dicho decreto, serán juzgados por los jueces ordinarios con arreglo a las leyes vigentes del momento.
