A pesar de su Juventud tenida el verdadero aspecto de la edad decrepita; la tez terrosa, los ojos apagados, las piernas hinchadas y tan voluminoso el vientre que cualquiera la habría supuesto próximo al alumbramiento [. . .] el medico prescribió entonces vino de Quinium Labarraque, quince días después la fiebre había cesado completamente[. . .] curación para su familia y sus visitas en cuidad o campo ".
