Abstract

This report summarizes the activities of the internship carried out in a company dedicated to the manufacture of glassware or glass containers of all kinds. The activities in this industry are adjusted to the professional profile of a mechanical technologist, this internship is carried out in a period of 6 (six) months from April 19 of this year (2021) in the company OI Peldar. The internship focuses mainly on the area of ​​general maintenance as a mechanic, the work focused on the practical part of the theory provided throughout the career, such as the use of tools, different types of equipment maintenance such as: water pumps, vacuum, turbines, fans, conveyor belts, etc. The strengthening of the necessary skills to provide correct support during the internship is given through the training of personnel regarding the risks that can be perceived during the processes. Inventory updating projects (spare parts) and cataloging of these, the use of adjustments and tolerances taken to the preparation of plans for their manufacture have also been developed. The realization of this practice has allowed an acquisition of knowledge for methodical and complete professional training in mechanical technology. The applied methodology was the observation, action and reflection of the praxis that are currently carried out, defining plans and guiding processes in order to improve the productive efficiency of the company.
