Abstract

The radio program focuses on the social inclusion initiatives that are being carried out in Quibdó, Chocó. Ludy Valencia, manager of the Mayor's Office of Social Inclusion, details the various projects and programs implemented to improve the quality of life of the region's inhabitants. Local development plans have been built in a participatory manner with the community, identifying the main needs and potential of each sector. The mayor's office has prioritized attention to vulnerable groups such as children, older adults, people with disabilities and women, implementing social and cultural programs. In addition, emphasis has been placed on citizen empowerment through the training of leaders and the promotion of citizen participation in decision-making. The goal is to build a more equitable and inclusive society, where all inhabitants have the same opportunities.
