Abstract
The planning secretariat of Cundinamarca has the mission to lead and guide local and regional planning processes, Directorate of Geographic Information Systems and Statistical Analysis was designated to the creation of the Spatial Data Infrastructure of Cundinamarca. For the creation of SDI is necessary to establish certain processes and ensure that information as an essential resource complies with a satisfactory life cycle. In order to comply with the objective of the project, it is necesary to structure the information stored in the databases of the Governorate, to complies with a defined data mode. For this is necessary to do the documentation of the general procedures on data collection and information quality standards and policies, aspects that have not been documented and should be implemented as a guide for future data management processes.
