Abstract

This investigation worked on a problem present in the cities, the specific mobility related to the individual public transport vehicles (TPI) taxi, their service provision as a solution to the demands of travel required in the agglomerations of populations, identifying the problems that this way of transport are identified as the contribution to road congestion, when this mode has behaviors of use such as randomly traveling on track looking for the need to serve travel services by users of a city leading to this practice in considerable percentages of vehicles of this service transit without passengers, contributing to the mobility load without solving required trips. An exhaustive research search was carried out aimed at improving and organizing this mode of transport, in which studies were found that provide model proposals from aggregate models that identify the components of the service and road congestion, structural models with proposals for modification of the companies that provide this service and models for balance dealing with congestion-demand relationships, uses, stochastic models, price modification and user-driver behaviors. In this way, taking information from large and technically elaborated surveys in the city of Bogotá, the Mobility survey and the Multipurpose survey, an analysis is made of variables that explain the behavior of this service, then a heuristic is established that under the information identified a proposal that seeks to minimize the traffic of TPI-taxi vehicles without passengers is modeled, obtaining important results to continue to be investigated and validated. The monitoring of the operation of this mode of transport is changing due to the evolution of information technologies, for which a chapter on knowledge management was established, where a model that tracks changes in the use of this information is proposed. mode of transport, use and services among the different actors and institutions that demand and provide this service
