Abstract
In the present internship, we intend to involve eleventh grade students from the Francisco Jose de Caldas District Technical College, in the design and implementation of vertical gardens as a pedagogical strategy in the environmental education of the same institution. This, with the help of concepts related to climate change, from a pedagogical and technical framework; As a result of which there is a concern for the protection of the environment. The realization of the vertical gardens project emerges in the institution as a solution to this, which at the same time aims to improve the quality of life of the student community itself, increase biodiversity (avifauna), contribute to a greater uptake of carbon dioxide Generating oxygen, as well as the use of rainwater. For this, 8 panels will be located in different places in the area to work, where students will prepare and install the plants, contributing to the spaces, a better utility and help with the environment. Taking into account the above, the pedagogical (meaningful learning) and environmental results will be obtained for a characteristic analysis of the present project.
