Abstract
This project construct a detailed procedure on how to determine the seismic vulnerability of an existing building. For this, it studies 4 main fronts of the project as follows:
- Static non-linear analysis (PUSHOVER Methodology).
- Methodology for revision of existing structures (NSR-10).
- Assembly and structural calculations with structural software (SAP 2000 Analysis).
- Determination of structural vulnerability (Application of an appropriate method to establish vulnerability in reinforced concrete buildings).
For the above, we will document the fundamental concepts of each front of work in order to make an introduction and determine the need for input and study of each of these concepts.
Theoretical bases of the ¿why? The PUSHOVER methodology is a reliable and highly reliable technique for the study of the vulnerability of buildings to seismic phenomena.
The analysis procedures and values recommended by current Colombian regulations (NSR-10) are taken into account in order to ensure that the application of the document is prudent and of acceptance for real cases in the national territory.
A step-by-step procedure of how to perform a drawing assembly and input engineering data in a structural software (SAP 2000) is indicated. We continue with the variables required in a nonlinear static analysis study that give us reliable output data and can thus know the reality of the state of a structure, in addition to being able to advance in more detailed studies.
A matrix was constructed containing the different methods to determine the structural vulnerability that helped in the selection of a suitable technique and applicable to the type of structure selected.
