Abstract

The oil industry develops a series of activities and typical operations that consider implicit in all the projects; Activities, such as: seismic, well drilling, production and conduction, involve multiple interactions with the natural environment, besides the use of renewable and non-renewable natural resources and the implantation of agents in the natural environment, besides The generation of hazardous and non-hazardous solid wastes at all stages.
Pacific Exploration & Production in accordance with its obligations requires the formulation, implementation, evaluation, monitoring, control and updating of the Integral Management Plans for Solid and Hazardous Waste applied in a particular way for each field, whether in exploratory phase or declared producer; Starting from these premises in this document is considered Sabanero block, a block of exploitation and exploration that includes an area of 12,421.44 Ha located in the municipality of Puerto Gaitán in the department of Meta, it is thus, through resolution 754 of November 25, 2014 of the Ministry of Environment, Housing and Territorial Development adopted this methodology for the implementation of the Plan for the Integral Management of Solid and Hazardous Waste for Block Sabaner
