¿Cómo Estamos Recordando? Propuestas para una Democratización de la Memoria en Colombia
Documents PDF
Abstract
The present work is a questioning to the forms in which memory of the violence in Colombia has been elaborated, in which, starting from the theoretical contributions of Paul Ricoeur in relation to the critical interpretation of text (2002) and the abuses of memory (2013), studies the rupture between those who have not been directly affected by the war and the processes of reconstruction of the violent past, in order to generate proposals that allow us to think about the possibility of a democratization of memory. Mentioned elements are articulated in the following inquiry: How would it be possible to stablish the elements that support the separation between -unaffected citizenship- and memory of war and socio-political violence in Colombia by means of a critical interpretation of the text towards a “democratization of memory”?
