Abstract
La década de 1980 establecerá un punto de inflexión en el conflicto armado colombiano,
fundamentalmente por el auge organizativo y de movilización de diferentes sectores sociales y
políticos , la reestructuración político-militar de una de las insurgencias con mayor trasegar
histórico en el país, y la crisis institucional y política al interior del Estado y la clase dirigente,
que demarcaran el rumbo tomado por la confrontación política y armada entre el establecimiento
en cabeza del presidente Belisario Betancur y la guerrilla de las FARC EP. Con el objeto de
realizar un acercamiento a las condiciones políticas que facilitaron el establecimiento del Cese al
Fuego en 1984 entre las FARC-EP y el Gobierno Nacional, este trabajo investigativo está
orientado a estudiar y analizar críticamente las condiciones subjetivas y objetivas que
materializaron el acuerdo de Cese el Fuego.
Abstract
The 1980’s establishes a turning point in the Colombian armed conflict. This is mainly
represented by the organizational boom and mobilization of different social and political sectors,
the military-political restructuring of one of the insurgencies with more historical changes in the
country, and the institutional and political crises within the state and the ruling class. These led to
a demarcation of the course taken by the political and armed confrontation between the
Colombian state headed by President Belisario Betancur and the guerrillas of the FARC EP. In
order to make an approach to the political conditions that facilitated the ceasefire establishment
in 1984 between the FARC-EP and the national government, this research work is aimed to study
and to make a critically analysis of the subjective and objective conditions that materialized the
ceasefire agreement.
