Abstract
El performance drag es la posibilidad de devenir otro u otros a través de una transformación corporal orientada a escenificar un personaje creado por las artistas. Una exploración de esta práctica artística por medio de categorías como el sujeto, el género y el cuerpo,nos permitirá problematizar la forma en la que se construyen personajes en la performancia drag, de qué manera esta práctica artística puede llegar a convertirse en una forma de lucha política en la cual las artistas drag transmiten un mensaje que se convierte en la conjunción entre el arte y el activismo: el artivismo.
Abstract
Drag performance is the possibility of becoming someone else through a body transformation aimed at staging a character created by the artists. An exploration of this artistic practice through categories such as subject, gender and body, will allow us to problematize the way in which characters are constructed in the drag performance, in which way this artistic practice can become a form of political struggle in which drag artists transmit a message that becomes the conjunction between art and activism: artivism.
