Abstract
The research is interestied inreconizing the social representations about the early childhood of a knowledeg Grndmother of the Uitoto in digenous Community, who trough her experiencies with children transmiting the songs of lullaby and ancestral massajes, has consolidated an understanding of schildhood from the worldview inherited from ist original group, thegradmother works in hte hause of intercultural thought- CPI-Makade Tinikana, that is locatel in San Cristobal , Bogotá. there,sheattendes Uitoto boysand girls, who difrent reasons, have sttled whit their families in that city.So , to support the research, authors such as Denise Jodelet, Castellvi, Geertz,Diaz, A, and Vazquez ared use. From where the central categories of the investigation are approached: Social Representaions, childhood-Early Childhood, Culture in tthe Uitoto indigenous Conmunity andthe Uitoto territory inthe CPI. inthis Way, the metology used is of acualitaty,based on the case study. Among the findings are: Vision of the urbancontex as a spacelacking the natural elements to care for children trhough tradicional medicine; Use of oral comunication to approach the child even en from gestation; ancestral knowledge, by grandparents and family from specific situations without theorizing; cultural representation of feminine role from the birth of the girsls oriented towards domestic tasks and towards fishing and bringing firewood as tasks assigned to children.
