Abstract

Dwell in a modern city is an exercise of placement inside the different contexts that we can find in it, in the particular case of Bogotá we might link the experience of the inhabitants whit numerous factors, ones whit more influence than the others in the day by day of the individuals. Bogotá has, like most of the major cities in the world, a distribution that lacks a clear regulation in regards of the distribution and use of the space although the space is in constant legislation and vigilance, the previous affirmation let us explore the ways in which the individual who resides in the city has to become a subject in order to live (work, move, enjoy the spaces or simply exist as an individual inside the city). The investigation takes into account the theories of the French philosophers Michel Foucualt and Gilles Deleuze in order to explain the ways in which individual are transformed in subjects using a methodological approach that sets its bases around the development of the archeology and genealogy, used to trace discursive practices complemented whit a cartographic revision in order to make visible how the space is influenced in an attempt to create an specific kind of subject.
