Abstract

The locality corresponds to the description of the site where a biological collection was made, this information is of great importance to carry out studies and analysis of biodiversity, however, there was no tool that allowed to capture the data easily and quickly. 'Locality' is an android application created to perform the structured registration of the information associated with the localities of biological collections, it consists of a form with fields that can be filled manually and other fields whose values ​​can be obtained automatically from the location of the mobile device. This document presents the stages of requirements survey, design, development and testing of the application.
