In the present project the development of an application was carried out, that aims to calculate and design a Savonius turbine in NX 10.0 software, in which the user only needs to know the speed of the wind where he needs to install the turbine and the power that he wants to generate, to enter this data to the application, choose the type of turbine desired, because the application offers the option to choose between 4 types of Savonius turbine, and later obtain a model of the turbine that fits the entered data.
