Ítem Evaluación de retención, deserción y duración de los estudiantes del proyecto curricular de Administración Ambiental en la Facultad de Medio Ambiente y Recursos Naturales de la Universidad Distrital Francisco José de CaldasBolaños Martínez, Angie Lorena; Silva Riveros, Christian Alirio; Cárdenas Manosalva, Ileana RomeaThis work seeks to analyze the causes of desertion, the length of stay and the duration of the students between the first and the ninth semester of the Curricular Project of Environmental Administration at the Faculty of Environment and Natural Resources of the Francisco José de Caldas District University. After the development of an extensive documentary review, a survey is formulated and applied to active students, students who dropped out for different reasons such as voluntary withdrawal, abandonment or loss of student status during their journey at the university and to those who applied to the transitory return program for the academic period of the year 2019 of the Environmental Administration program, with this it is possible to determine the causes at the academic, structural and social level that can mainly incur a state of desertion of the students in the professional career. After this, the Weaknesses, Opportunities, Strengths and Threats are determined, reflected within the academic program through a SWOT Matrix which are weighted and valued through the MEFI Matrix (Internal Factors Evaluation Matrix) and MEFE (Matrix of Evaluation of External Factors) Following this, the analysis between the two matrices is carried out using the Cross SWOT Matrix from the evaluation of each of the factors in order to develop strategies that allow supporting the academic, pedagogical and methodological processes of the career with the development of actions aimed at supporting the processes to reduce the dropout rate of students in their undergraduate academic programs.Ítem Implicaciones bioéticas y ambientales por el abandono y aumento de la población de perros callejeros en la localidad de Bosa de la ciudad de Bogotá, D.CDiaz Estepa, Nicolás; Tabares González, Daniela; Pazos Álvarez, AlfonsoThe objective of this research is to determine the bioethical and environmental implications derived from the abandonment and overpopulation of stray dogs in the locality of Bosa in the city of Bogotá, a persistent problem in the city and specifically in the locality of Bosa, a problem for which management measures have been insufficient. For the development of this research, the bioethical approaches of Peter Singer's school of animal welfare, Tom Regan's animal rights and Jesús Mosterín's proposal of compassion are taken into account. Initially, an environmental characterization of the territory of the locality of Bosa is carried out, focusing on the current problem of abandonment and increase of the stray dog population, where aspects such as biotic, abiotic, social and cultural are taken into account, making use of primary and secondary information, within the same characterization the causes and consequences of this problem are identified. Followed by a compilation and analysis of secondary information sources to identify the bioethical criteria related to the abandonment and increase of the dog population and to determine which of these is related to the objective of this research. Finally, through the approach and development of a scorecard for environmental management, to define the success factors to reduce the abandonment and increase of the stray dog population in the locality of Bosa.
