In this paper we use this network with Synthetic Aperture Radar Satellital Images that have the capacity of obtain land photographs independent of atmospheric conditions. We trained this network with classified images applying "CORINE Land Cover" (CLC) adapted to Colombia in some specific country zones using Sentinel-1 Images. Due Limitations with the first designed network, the data was scaled between 0 - 255 values and we used the "RestNet50" architecture, achieving accuracy of 87.9% and 82.9% for CLC level 1 and 2 respectively. In total were used 9 of 15 categories of level 2 CLC, given to the lack of training examples of certain categories, this represent the limitations of the amount of data required by the CNN. Notwithstanding of this limitations, it can be assumed that with more amount of data for training, metric and quantity of covers can increase, this shows great potential for the future application of these techniques in classification and maps creation of the land coverage.Ítem Desarrollo de un entorno de trabajo BIG Data que haga uso eficiente de los recursos computacionales del CECADAmado Romero, David Julian; Vera Parra, Nelson EnriqueThis paper describes the settings of a hadoop cluster deployment in a certain number of machines with the purpose of, subsequently, carry out the deployment automation with the flexibility of choosing the number of machines in the cluster.Ítem DISEÑO E IMPLEMENTACIÓN DE UN BANCO DE CARGA MONOFÁSICO PARA PRUEBAS DE CARGA EN SISTEMAS DE ALIMENTACIÓN ININTERRUMPIDAS MONOFÁSICAS CON CAPACIDADES ENTRE 1 Y 2 KVA(Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas) Rozo García, Pablo Emilio; Zabaleta, Judith; Vera Parra, Nelson EnriqueÍtem DISEÑO Y EVALUACIÓN DE UN CLASIFICADOR DE TEXTURAS BASADO EN LS-SVM(Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas) Cárdenas Quintero, Beitmantt; Vera Parra, Nelson Enrique; Rozo García, Pablo EmilioÍtem Guía metodológica introductoria a la ciencia de datosCalderón Piedras, Santiago; Pérez Castillo, José Nelson; Vera Parra, Nelson EnriqueTaking into account the current relevance of data science, a guide to approaching this field is proposed through the learning of the Python programming language supported by the Anaconda distribution, covering thematic chapters in which it is explained through examples, characteristic activities in data processing such as: data import, data preparation, data description and data analysis using basic machine learning tools, with which information can be obtained by applying such tools to data in order to infer or predict about them.Ítem Impacto de la generación distribuida sobre el flujo armónico en redes de distribución(Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas) González Herrera, Diego; Rivas Trujillo, Edwin; Vera Parra, Nelson EnriqueÍtem Modelo de estimación de la producción de guayaba a partir de imágenes satelitales y UAV: en la provincia de Vélez SantanderBecerra González, Laura Cristina; Medina Daza, Rubén Javier; Vera Parra, Nelson EnriqueThe current project’s objective is to develop a web platform which allows to make choices about the programming of guava crops and guarantee fruit supply to the guava sweet producers during the whole 12 months of the year; to achieve this, it is used a special database, the georeferenciation of 122 technified crops in the province and the ARCGIS tool. The model includes 3 main contributions: a new data structure called CISK to represent in an indexed and compact way the super k-mers and their minimizers and two massive parallelization patterns, one to obtain the canonical m-mers of a set of reads and another to perform the search for super k-mers based on seeds type minimizer. During the project, 4 evaluation processes were performed: - a preliminary evaluation that allowed determining that the de-novo assembly process is the most complex stage and with the highest computational requirements of a typical workflow of genomic and transcriptomic reads, - a second evaluation that showed that the tasks associated with the treatment of k-mers are processes that represent bottlenecks due to their high demand of memory, - a third evaluation that allowed select the disk partitioning techniques based on super k-mers using seeds type minimizer as base methodology for the design of massive parallel computing model to process k-mers on heterogeneous platforms, - and finally an evaluation of the proposed model that evidenced its advantages obtaining a speed-up of 4.31x on similar processes in highly recognized k-mers counting tools that perform parallelization in CPU. The model implementation code is available in the repository https://github.com/BioinfUD/K-mersCL. This implementation consists of a host code and two kernels in OpenCL, one for canonical minimizer and another for signature.Ítem Modelo de procesamiento paralelo en arquitecturas heterogéneas para regresiones lineales multivariablesRojas Quintero, Cristian Alejandro; Vera Parra, Nelson EnriqueThe generation of multiple linear regression models demands an exhaustive selection of the return variables that allow obtaining a high level of precision in the prediction tasks. This selection process represents a high algorithmic and computational challenge, due to the fact that it is necessary to obtain and evaluate each of the possible models in order to efficiently select the most accurate one. In this work, a parallel processing model was created to parameterize multivariable linear regression models, using heterogeneous architectures: HMMMR (Heterogeneous Model for Massive Multilinear Regressions). HMMMR was designed to exploit the benefits of parallel computing capabilities of GPUs through the use of data structures and optimized matrix operations to perform batch calculations. The main objective of HMMMR is to make a selection of a subset of predictors that present better results in a linear regression for a given target variable. The implementation of HMMMR shows superiority in the regression calculation time since a more efficient use of the batch processing capacity of the GPU is made. For the datasets evaluated (29332215 and 46626033 regressions with data levels and precipitations of reservoirs located in Colombia) the implementation of HMMMR was up to 9.8 and 5.06 times faster than the implementation in a homogeneous platform. Currently, technological tools are applied to counteract incidents in motorcycle driving, whether they are part of the same vehicle or are externally involved in the environment. Incidents in motorcycle driving are increasing due to the demand for the acquisition of these vehicles, which makes it important to generate an approach towards reducing the risk of road accidents based on the analysis of dynamic behavior while driving. The development of this research began with the detection and storage of data associated with the dynamic acceleration variable of a motorcycle while driving, this with the help of a 3-axis accelerometer sensor generating a dataset, which was processed and analyzed for later be taken by three predictive classification models based on Machine Learning which were Decision Trees, K - Nearest Neighbors and Random Forests. The performance of each model was evaluated in the task of better classifying the level of accident risk, concerning the driving style based on certain levels of acceleration. The Random Forest model showed a slightly better performance compared to that shown by the other two models, with 97.24% accuracy and recall, 97.16% precision and 97.17% F1 score.Ítem Modelo test-bed de simulación y evaluación de criptografía de curva elíptica en redes IPv6 de próxima generación(Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas.
