Ítem Aplicación inmersiva para el consumo de recursos digitales basada en navegación por ontologías como estrategia de interacciónGaona García, Paulo Alonso; Montenegro Marín, Carlos Enrique; Herrera Cubides, Jhon Francined; Gaona García, Paulo Alonso [0000-0002-8758-1412]; Herrera Cubides, Jhon Francined [0000-0003-1615-4656]The educational materials available in digital libraries and repositories are constantly growing. Accessing each one of them often demands a large amount of time from an average user, which generates experiences to often frustrating associated with problems of usability, navigation, search mechanisms, among others. This book presents a proposal that allows integrating schemes to represent knowledge from the use of ontologies. formalized and immersion technological strategies based on virtual reality, whose objective is to facilitate access to open educational resources. In this sense, the challenge of improving the user experience for searching and accessing open resources in digital repositories is outlined. To this end, it is intended to integrate functional elements of virtual environments, such as interaction and immersion together with navigation based on ontologies —predefined under an area of knowledge—, which, in addition to enabling the link to text, image and video resources, allows the consumption of resources from libraries and digital repositoriesÍtem Diseño y Desarrollo de un Prototipo de Aplicación Móvil para Estimar Paquetes Turísticos de Deportes Extremos en el Departamento de CundinamarcaOcampo Garzon, Ivan Camilo; Herrera Cubides, Jhon FrancinedDesign and development of a prototype mobile application to estimate tourism plans for conducting extreme sports in the department of Cundinamarca taking into account the priorities of sports, services and an estimated cash by the customer .Ítem Evaluacion de la Calidad Linked Open Data basada en un Modelo de Lógica DifusaArias Caracas, Esteban; Mendoza López, Daniel Fernando; Gaona-García, Paulo Alonso; Herrera Cubides, Jhon Francined; Montenegro-Marín, Carlos Enrique; Gaona García, Paulo AlonsoLinked Open Data has been one of the most widely used online data publishing methods in recent years. This growth means that the quality of this data is required for the benefit of consumers and people who wish to use this data. There are approaches based on classical mathematical models, however, most of these results are too linear; that is, they use conventional evaluators to define both quality aspects and results. In response, a new approach based on fuzzy logic is constructed as an application, which aims to complement and compare traditional models without the need to restrict the quality aspects with which it can be measured. As a methodology, it is done by obtaining data from each dataset through the SPARQL Endpoints provided by high category datasets, classifying them within accessibility and trust dimensions, represented in 4 values: response time, scalability, trustworthiness and timeliness. This analysis is done internally for the values within the accessibility dimension, and externally for the values within the confidence dimension. In this way, it is possible to know or determine a better general quality approximation of the Linked Open Data according to a large number of quality evaluation variables, or even parameterize its own aspects in the model as a complement to the already established models, through the concept of fuzzy logic.Ítem Metamodelo para vinculación de recursos educativos abiertos mediante especificaciones LOD y basado en principios de confianzaHerrera Cubides, Jhon Francined; Gaona García, Paulo AlonsoAt present, it is shown high availability of educational resources on the Web; a large majority of those are posted with copyright. It allows that the siting, access, query, and retrieval of those which are open and tailored to the users’ requirements, will come under an increasing need. This need is to be found when these resources, along with the virtual learning environments, become key elements and strategies at the moment of addressing issues such as the one experienced due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Currently, in the knowledge domain of Open Educational Resources (OER) and the querying and retrieving processes, different challenges -associated with scarce description of their features, special needs of those organizations that post, among others- are presented. Besides, the OER descriptions unveil diverse data quality issues, their data models are not openly available, and finally, those descriptions do not offer semantic enrichment that contributes to providing more context to the users in the consulting and retrieving processes of the resources, situations that have restricted availability and reuse of OER. Arisen from the problems mentioned previously, the need to provide an improved and enriched description of OER that addresses quality data elements from the abstraction and setting stages of the features, as first steps of open and enhanced data life cycle was identified. Taking into account the aforementioned need and the structure of various theoretical components that render restrictions and standards for its implementation, the present thesis aims at designing a metamodel that articulates an OER description with improvements through the execution of data quality dimensions, along with the semantic enhancement endowed by linked data. This metamodel allows to build a model to describe Open Educational Resources which is mapped in two formats: Dublin Core, as the simplest and most widely used metadata schema; and RDF, as standard of data interchange to develop the interconnected data process. This improved model, to describe OER and their mapping, contribute to enabling the availability and reuse of OER, also, provides a wider set of characteristics that permits and facilitates searching and retrieving processes of resources from users. Moreover, it allows a greater interoperability level with other models when having a larger number of features, as criteria upgrading in searching and retrieving processes of educational resources for other applications.Ítem Propuesta metodológica para la publicación de recursos digitales educativos basado en Linked open data. Caso de estudio: Universidad Distrital Francisco José de CaldasCataño Peralta, Diego Mauricio; Herrera Cubides, Jhon FrancinedThis document presents a methodological proposal for the publication of resources based on LOD that consists of six stages, together with a set of recommendations and good practices, as well as the use of tools. A case of use of the implementation is shown at the end.Ítem UN VIAJE A TRAVÉS DE BASES DE DATOS ESPACIALES NoSQL(Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas) Ramírez Arévalo, Helio Henry; Herrera Cubides, Jhon FrancinedÍtem VACIT: Herramienta de consumo, análisis. y aprendizaje automático para los recursos de LOD en instancias CKANVarón Capera, Álvaro; Herrera Cubides, Jhon Francined; Gaona García, Paulo Alonso; Montenegro Marín, Carlos EnriqueLinked Open Data is a concept that has became stronger in the recent years, providing a series of principles for the interconnection of data through machine-readable structures and knowledge representation schemes defined by ontologies. Nowadays, there are platforms that standardize the LOD resources consumption processes, with Ckan being one of the most relevant with open source, for the management of these resources, gathering around 146 instances among government organizations, communities and NGOs. However, the consumption of these resources lacks of minimum criteria to determine its validity such as level of trust, quality, linkage and usability of the data; aspects that require a previous systematic analysis about the set of published data. To support this process of analysis and determination of the mentioned criteria, the purpose of this article is to build the Vacit tool: Visual analytics for Ckan instances tool; tool that provides a serie of visual analytics about the current state of the datasets obtained from the different instances published in Ckan. Finally, it presents results, conclusions and future work from the use of the tool for the consumption of datasets that belong to certain instances ascribed to the Ckan platform.
