Ítem Evaluación de la huella hídrica de la cuenca alta del río Bogotá asociada a las actividades durante la cuarentena estricta nacional por la pandemia del covid-19Sosa Galeano, Karen Lizeth; González Ramírez, Luisa Fernanda; González Ramírez, Luisa Fernanda [000-0001-8489-6761]his research presents the measurement of the Water Footprint of the Upper Bogota River Basin, the tool defines the economic activities that most pressured the water body during the COVID-19 pandemic, since some of the economic activities were gradually closed if they did not fulfill the role of feeding the population in this space of time. The purpose of this work is to determine whether the water body was able to assimilate the pollutant load or not, to determine which economic activity captured more water and if it is sustainable with these economic activities, since the Bogotá River is considered one of the most polluted, whose tributary is lost in the Magdalena River, the main river of the country. For this purpose, use was made of the Methodological Guide for the application of the Water Footprint in Basins, a document prepared for the measurement of the water footprint of water bodies, since the footprint measurement prepared by Hoesktra prevents quantification in this specific field; in addition, the guide proposes a quantitative and qualitative methodology. The document contains information on the area through the Environmental Baseline, the quantification of the footprint and the environmental sustainability analysis applied to the three water footprints, blue, green and gray. The measurement of the footprint was able to determine the role of agricultural and industrial activities that have a significant impact on the river, as well as its unsustainability in the midst of the contingency and the level and percentage of contamination in the area.
