Análisis ambiental de uso de paneles fotovoltaicos en una casa del Municipio de Cogua - Cundinamarca

Renewable energy can be considered as a type of clean energy, generated from natural resources from sources such as: the sun, water and wind, which has an impact on the reduction of environmental impacts. Currently, energy consumption worldwide has increased considerably, but in some areas the supply of any type of energy is minimal, even reaching almost zero coverage. For countries like Colombia, being cataloged with a high solar potential is quite useful since it could reach remote areas of the country or achieve an alternation in the energy supply, which leads to reducing the cost of the service and improving the quality of life of people. (Giraldo, M. Vacca, R. Urrego, A. (s, f)). Of every 100 Colombian households, 97 have access to electricity service (PIEC 2019). According to the Indicative Plan for Expansion of Coverage, PIEC 2019-2023, published in December 2019, by the Mining-Energy Planning Unit, UPME, for the 2019 term, it is estimated that there are 338,383 homes located in isolated areas or Zones Non-Interconnected, ZNI of the country, which do not have electricity service, with a total population of 1,184,340 inhabitants without a sustainable energy solution. According to the documentation consulted, it was shown that there is no single figure for the number of dwellings in ZNI. This condition has generated situations in the population such as: incipient access to public electricity service; restricted access to opportunities for education, health, productivity and information technology; limited labor supply situation that generates unemployment; poverty and inequality; increased living costs and poor use of infrastructure and public services. (National Department of Planning & Ministry of Mines and Energy, s.f.). This is how photovoltaic solar systems are proposed as a solution to the supply of energy in Colombia, for the Colombian case, the information sources of the solar resource indicate that the country has an average irradiation of 4.5 kWh/m2 /d, which it exceeds the world average of 3.9 kWh/m2 /d, standing out from the average of countries such as Germany (3.0 kWh/m2 /d). (UPME, 2015). That is why photovoltaic solar energy stands out among other non-conventional energy sources (Abella, 2016). For this work, the environmental study of the use of photovoltaic panels will be carried out in a rural house normally inhabited by four people who need to cover an electrical consumption of at least 3 Kilowatts for the following appliances: a refrigerator, a motorized pump and two cell phones, among others, in the municipality of Cogua, Cundinamarca. This work provides the research opportunity to consider photovoltaic systems as an option to cover the unsatisfied electrical energy needs in rural areas of the country.
Análisis de alternativas para el aprovechamiento del material vegetal generado por el corte de césped en la limpieza de la Cuenca Fucha (Bogotá D.C.)

The Fucha River watershed is part of the water system of the Bogotá city. As it passes through the capital district, the bodies of water present in this watersheds are receptors for rainwater, domestic and industrial waters and large amounts of pollution, therefore, the district through inter-administrative agreements, carries out cleaning and maintenance activities of watersheds and streams in the city of Bogotá, in addition to the complementary activities of ringing of fallen trees, the removal of plant material, through cutting grass, weeding and clearing of berms, slabs and slopes. Given that the plant material resulting from the complementary activities of cutting grass, is a waste that can be harvested, this research work resulted in the analysis of the different alternatives for the use of the plant material generated by cutting grass on cleaning of the Fucha watersheds, through matrices designed to identify strengths and weaknesses of the options that are exposed there.

The main objective of this document is to analyze instruments of environmental and productive management in the framework of the diagnosis of the institutional management of deforestation in the Department of Caquetá, through the identification, description and analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of said instruments, All this through analysis of metrics, identification matrices of both actors and instruments, and finally a DOFA analysis where crucial opportunities and threats are found in the implementation of the instruments within institutional management.
Análisis de la aceptación del uso de energía solar para beneficio doméstico en la comunidad del sector kilómetro 32, Vereda Albania, municipio de san Vicente de Chucurí en el departamento de Santander

The present study consists in the acceptation analysis of the use of Solar Energies for the provisioning of The Electric Energies in the Sector Kilometer 32, Albania sidewalk, in the municipality of San Vicente of Chucurí, Santander Department; for the same it arises to realize a study in three stages. In the first of them it searches to validate that the study area has the climatic offer and to the Radiation Solar correct reported from official sources, for this reason it uses a Solar Panel of the test to the data collection of voltage and the current that generates the incident Solar Radiation, data that permit the elaboration of graphics of potency available in function of the hour of the day, calibrating the Solar radiation, maps specifically for the area of study; in this stage also analyses other influential factors in the Solar availability how the cloudiness. In a Second Stage realizes a bibliographic revision to get details about technics and economic aspects of interest for the development of the project, information that helps as input for the design of the question of a poll of acceptation to realize a third stage of the project, through expected to analyze qualitatively the perception of the settlers in relation with the topic and to determinate the opportunities to the project, besides of to serve as a base for a correct implementation to take in account the opinions and community’s views, it’s a vitally important aspect to the time of that a community appropriate a new technology and the project be successful.

This document will provide a description of what is intended with respect to establishing those success factors that MSME companies in the food sector in Colombia have with certification of the NTC ISO 14001:2015 standard, understanding that knowledge of these success factors for Managers, environmental coordinators and senior management in companies are the key or the basis for unleashing preconceived structures that influence the successful case studies that many companies have today in Colombia. The need to identify the factors that contribute to the success of MSME companies certified in the ISO 14001:2015 standard in the food sector in Colombia is raised, and how these factors could be improved to increase the competitiveness and sustainability of companies in this sector. This thesis is relevant because it will allow MSMEs in this treated sector to improve updated orientation towards the most convenient action strategies without assuming high costs and using simple technical tools, which will allow companies to improve their efficiency, productivity and increase its competitiveness in the market. Giving then as a conclusion a contribution to the response of the balance between the consumption of a society, economic deficit, pandemics or recessions and the objectives of sustainable development that lead to the same goals, favorable achievements and a contribution to the discussion or paradigm for the current viability of the NTC ISO 14001:2015 certification that micro, small and medium-sized companies in the food sector have.
Análisis de los Impactos ambientales ocasionados por el uso de los fertilizantes nitrogenados, en el cultivo de papa en el Municipio de Zipaquirá

Potato cultivation has great potential for exploitation in the country, as there is a great variety of species and Colombia has a competitive advantage, given that it has a great variety of soils and climates, in addition, a large number of families in the country is dedicated to the production of this tuber (Baldoff Barajas and Almanza, 2014), however, this advantage is not being exploited, proof of this is that Colombia is ranked number 21 among the countries that make more exports of this food (Espinal et al., 2005), that is why it tries to increase agricultural productivity through nitrogen fertilizer products, such as urea. However, the effects on health and the environment are not contemplated, by making incorrect use of these inputs, for example, the contamination of surface water by runoff from fertilizer and the effects on human health in the long term, by the handling of these without the personal protection elements, required for the activity. In addition to the above, Colombia is an agricultural country with a share of 12.82% in GDP and municipalities such as Zipaquirá focus much of their finances on the production of this food (Mayor's Office of Zipaquirá-Cundinamarca, 2016), which is why it is important to identify the impact of this activity due to the use of urea, the most popular fertilizer in the sector for its price in the market. For this reason, this research seeks to make a proposal, in order to identify the negative impacts generated by the use of urea as a fertilizer in potato cultivation, in the municipality of Zipaquirá and thus be able to comply with the goals of the Sustainable Development Goals. To do this, a methodology is developed with 3 phases, in the first one it is sought to evaluate the progress of the Municipal Development Plan based on the Sustainable Development Goals and the Smart Goals (as an alternative that takes little time, but its ideas are innovative and interesting) through a comparative matrix, the next phase is to determine the environmental impacts, social and economic that implies the use of nitrogen fertilizers in the cultivation of potatoes in the Municipality of Zipaquirá, through the elaboration of the Leopold matrix and finally alternatives are proposed for the management of nitrogen fertilizers of the potato crop, for the Municipality of Zipaquirá and thus reduce the negative impact on human and ecological health, for their bad practices, which are expected to be taken into account in future investigations.
Análisis histórico del plan de mejoramiento del proyecto curricular de administración ambiental de la Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas hasta el periodo 2019-1

On this document is developed the historic improvement plan analysis of the curriculum project of Environmental Administration Of Francisco De Caldas Distrital University of 2019-1, period, which will help the improvement plan looking for have a high-level education. For the structure of this document a revision of the important improvement plan terms and the high quality on bachelor programs is done. On the same way, a diagnosis that is composed of the documentation presented by the curricular project accreditation representative, which after having a classification and because of an analysis, is going to give us 3 important items; a time line with the most relevant moments that the curricular project has been gone through, the consolidation of a data base that has the documents and evidences of the improvement plans and an inform of the level of compliance of the activities on the improvement plan, as a follow up, for the 2019-1 period. Those results will be used as a tool for the continuous improvement process, auto evaluation, curriculum project high quality re accreditation and also for the educative community of the project, with the generated instruments we can get the context about the phases this project has been gone through in order to get the high quality accreditation, in addition we will recognize the generated changes on the study plans and them correlation between the administration formation and the environmental administration job.
Aplicación de un modelo predictivo para el análisis del impacto generado por el cambio de cobertura urbana en el municipio de Mosquera, Cundinamarca

Multitemporal studies of changes in land cover and use are widely used to understand the impact of anthropogenic actions on systems. For this, predictive models are a great tool for analysis that facilitates decision making to anticipate, prevent and mitigate the effects generated by such changes. The need to apply a simulation model of the change in urban coverage as a tool for territorial planning in the municipality of Mosquera, Cundinamarca, is due to the high growth rate of the western part of the Bogotá savannah and the impact that the establishment of the free zones, the services of the dormitory city provided by the municipality to the city and the creation of quarries generate on the environment. The main objective of this project is to apply a simulation model, through the use of Geographic Information Systems - GIS tools, to represent the scenario of future urban expansion in the Municipality of Mosquera, Cundinamarca, in 2025 and, based on this simulation, to identify and describe the environmental impacts that this expansion produces; obtaining as a result that the natural coverages present an indicator of environmental importance of the critical impact, being this the greatest impact generated.

Environmental Management in organizations is a tool that minimizes the impacts that the organization's own activities generate on the environment, in order to respond to legal requirements and environmental goals established by the organization and thus achieve continuous improvement. To support the Environmental Administration of the Centro de Educacion Militar, the activities established in the Activity and Dissemination Schedules were developed, such as training, dissemination of environmental bulletins, environmental monitoring visits to the different schools and environmental campaigns. The qualification was made to each of the Schools attached to CEMIL, through the Action Plan, the Management Report of the Action Plan and the Risk Assessment, taking into account the compliance and the quality of the development of the activities established in the schedules and applicable to each School according to the environmental aspects present in each one.

The following internship report was carried out in order to support the planning process that, in accordance with the "Guide for the Planning of Superficial Continental Water Resources (PORH)", adopted by means of RESOLUTION 0751 of May 9, 2018, establishes the work plan that involves support for the monitoring and adoption of the Water Resource Management Plans in the CAR corporation, within this dynamic arises the need to carry out an articulation between the environmental determinants established in the PORH since these are a important input in the review, adjustment and reformulation of the POT with the proposals for Environmental Management that are established through instruments such as the PORH Water Resource Management Plans, among others, for this reason the need arises to develop a document that allows us to organize and record all this information. As a first measure, a review of the existing documentation is carried out with respect to territorial planning and water resources, there are several documents that serve as a reference to achieve a correct articulation and execution of the activities to be carried out. This report also exposes and develops the support provided in the articulation of the environmental determinants in the PORH Río Alto Suarez municipality of Chiquinquirá existing in phase IV of FORMULATION, the updates of the monitoring and traceability tools in the PORH Embalse Tominé and Río Teusacá , PORH Blanco, Negro and Guayuriba, where the activities were reviewed and updated according to the requirements established by the PORH team of the Directorate for Management of Environmental and Territorial Planning (DGOAT) in the Regional Autonomous Corporation of Cundinamarca (CAR).

Since we know, almost any process is productive, misional or strategic he carries some type of environmental impact, be direct or indirect, the repercussions of the products are studied from the extraction of the raw material up to his final disposition(regulation), the residues of some of these products for his different characteristics can cause impacts or adverse effects to the human being or to the environment, these are known as dangerous residues and cannot prepare in an ordinary way, inside them we find devices, goods or products that on having been rejected by the consumers turn into residues posconsumo. In this specific case we centre on the Administrative Special Unit On Direction of Taxes and National Customs (ASU DTNC) since it was mentioned previously it uses instruments, devices and elements that turn into residues posconsumo and to the being a national entity generates great quantity of the above mentioned residues. Dentisalud is an organization in the health sector with a history of 25 years dedicated to the activities of dental practice, currently has its own network and also franchises of Institutions Providers of health services at the national level in order to improve the quality of people's lives. The organization is in need of proper management of the waste it generates in its facilities, due to this, it has been carrying out actions that allow it to improve the quality of its service and also its relationship with the environment due to its activities. Also, with the aim of being an organization recognized for its performance and environmental management, DENTISALUD's environmental management area is available to give environmental science students the opportunity to develop their internships and to be able to collaborate to obtain the approval of the ACERCAR strategy arranged by the District Secretary of Environment of Bogotá, this strategy seeks to generate reports of environmental development indicators of organizations and thus verify environmental traceability, also, compliance with applicable environmental procedures and obligations according to the activities that are developed In the organization. The environmental administrative support developed in Dentisalud was in order to achieve the recognition and approval of the ACERCAR strategy launched by the District Secretary for the Environment and through the preparation of documents, training, follow-up visits, among other activities, to effectively conclude this process. Diseño de alternativas de gestión de los residuos sólidos de la industria manufacturera de muebles para la elaboración de productos para mascotas, estudio de caso: : RODFOR

In this project, the characterization of the solid waste generated by the furniture manufacturing company RODFOR was carried out, where a high volume of usable waste was found, in good condition and with a permanent generation, the number of households that have pets in the UPZ 41 Muzu and the respective distribution in terms of the type of pets, then a survey was applied to establish what are the possible alternatives of use that can be given to said materials based on the needs of the pets, which turned out to be mainly aimed at entertainment and leisure products such as toys, beds, feeders and gyms, later the possible products were designed and reflected in a product portfolio where the different alternatives are exposed and finally a market analysis was carried out to establish the competition and see the potential for success of products designed according to the international, national and local contexts where a great gap was evidenced in the supply of products made with recycled materials.

Good manufacturing practices appeared in Colombia from the recommendations given by the international sales entity (Codex Alimentarius), which intends that any country that wants to export or import food, meets specific phytosanitary requirements that guarantee the quality and safety of food, avoiding risks to public health. (FAO, 2019) Based on this concept, Decree 3075 of 1997 emerges in Colombia, which seeks to enrroll all the institutions, organizations, among others, in guarantee good manufacturing practices in all of internal processes against the food handling. (Decree 3075, 1997) One of this institutions that seek to comply with good manufacturing practices are military institutions. That’s something normal beacuse they have in their internal organization casinos, which meet the objective of feeding military personnel and civil. One of the military institutions that seeks to improve day by day in this type of process is the Carlos Julio Gil Colorado Artillery School; that idea its supported by receive professional students how improves the possible propose of design of good manufacturing practices that seeks to meet the need that the ESART officers casino had. In the execution of the internship it is possible to identify the different aspects to improve and thus raise them in the sanitation plans that are accompanied with their respective formats and educational awareness that can continue to function as a training method for the food handling personnel.
Diseño de plan para el manejo y control del camarón jumbo (penaeus monodon, fabricius, 1798) en el Caribe Colombiano

The Jumbo Shrimp (Penaeus monodon) is an exotic marine invasive species with high potential for invasion and risk for the native biodiversity and ecosystems of the Colombian Caribbean, listed in Resolution No. 0207 of 2010 “By which it is added to the list of invasive alien species declared by the first article of Resolution 848 of 2008 and other determinations are made” currently presents an area of invasion that covers the entire Colombian Caribbean, for these reasons this document has two main purposes, the first; design a Plan for the Management and Control of Jumbo Shrimp (Penaeus monodon) in the Colombian Caribbean, and, the second; serve as a technical input for the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development. To achieve these two purposes, an analysis was made of primary and secondary information sources related to the presence of Jumbo Shrimp (Penaeus monodon) in the Colombian Caribbean and the risk it represents for biodiversity and ecosystem services. Additionally, through a methodological approach called “Logical Framework” it was possible to identify, order, lead and guide actions towards the integral development of management strategies for the control and management of Jumbo Shrimp (Penaeus monodon). Likewise, it was designed and created didactic material for the community in order to generate public awareness about the impacts that this invasive species can generate in the different ecosystems of the country. According to the analysis of results, it was evidenced that Penaeus monodon is a species that has a very particular peculiarity that differentiates it from the other penaeid species, and that is, its vertiginous rate of growth and large size, which becomes three and up to four times larger than a native shrimp species (a feature shared with most invasive species used for productive systems) this results in a great challenge if analyzed from the Natural Resources Management to the extent that its dispersion in the Caribbean Colombian has become a kind of bycatch, which has generated the majority of fishermen direct their interest in this species, running a high risk at this level not only native biodiversity and ecosystem services but also the health of people that already began to consume it, and in other scenarios to market it. For this reason, the design of this Plan is considered one of the most important strategies to prevent the conversion of Penaeus monodon from Invasive Exotic Species to “Domesticated” for productive uses and promotion of possible incentives by the State.
