Ítem Acercamiento a la biodiversidad desde la clase de biología a estudiantes con necesidades específicas en el Colegio República de ChinaGranobles Hernández, Maillyn Johanna; Giraldo Quintero, Gustavo; Giraldo Quintero, Gustavo [0000-0003-3573-4154]Throughout history it has been seen how biodiversity has declined due to various factors. We, as biology teachers who have tools, can integrate this problem into curricular projects so that students understand and become aware of this important element that is life. Now, it is necessary not only to relate the various topics but also to include education. Generating support material for students with specific needs is part of the comprehensive models for their development and makes us a significant support for them since we are not only in their learning process but also in their support models. Due to the above, adaptations must be maintained in the materials of the students who require it during this way to improve the learning and appropriation of the themes seen during the school year, relating it in turn with daily life.Ítem Actualización física y nomenclatural de la colección de líquenes del herbario del Jardín Botánico de BogotáPachón Bautista, Juan Diego; Gustavo, Giraldo Quintero; Giraldo Quintero, Gustavo [0000-0003-3573-4154]In Colombia, lichenized fungi are found in all biomes, especially in the Andean region, the dry forest and the humid forest. Of the 18,000 species of lichens globally, Colombia has 1793, that is, 10% of the world's diversity. The Andean forests and the humid forest are the ones with the highest number of species. The new taxonomic studies of lichens present changes in the nomenclature, so it is necessary to update the lichen collection of the herbarium of the Botanical Garden of Bogotá-JBB, which entails a change in its taxonomy and its maintenance in order to preserve these specimens in optimal conditions, since they provide valuable information to know the richness and distribution of ecosystems. The objective of this work was to update the nomenclature of 1362 specimens of lichens belonging to the Herbarium of the Jardín Botánico-JBB of Bogotá through a physical (change of envelopes, label and collection number) and taxonomic update. The most representative departments of the collection are Cundinamarca and Boyacá. The families that most represent the collection are Parmeliaceae and Peltigeraceae and the genera with the highest frequency are Cladonia and Sticta. Finally, the update is a great contribution to the recognition of the richness and distribution of lichens in Colombia that are in the process of study.Ítem Aportes al proceso de restauración de la reserva umbral cultural horizontes, con el uso de herramientas sig.Vargas Moreno, Andrés Felipe; Giraldo Quintero, Gustavo; Giraldo Quintero, Gustavo [0000-0003-3573-4154]The objective of this report is to expose the achievements obtained within the process of the internship entitled "contributions to the restoration process of the horizons cultural threshold reserve" based on GIS tools and the application of i. In addition to recording data on plants and their possible diseases. The work includes a contextualization structure, methodology, results and analysis. The results of this internship contribute to the monitoring and development of the ecological restoration plan of the horizons cultural threshold reserve.Ítem Caracterización etnobotánica de plantas medicinales utilizadas por familias campesinas del municipio de alpujarra en el departamento del TolimaMarín González, Manuel Josué; Giraldo Quintero, Gustavo; Giraldo Quintero, Gustavo [0000-0003-3573-4154]A study of the medicinal plants used by peasant families in the municipality of Alpujarra in the department of Tolima, Colombia, was carried out with the objective of characterizing, recognizing its importance, itself with the use and transmission of this knowledge, for which open interviews during different meetings with the community such as walks, visits to the farm, and day laborers collecting coffee, where different approaches were generated that allowed the interview to take place smoothly and without pressure. In the characterization, the Lamiaceae family was evidenced as the most used in the region with 20% followed by the Verbenaceae family with 16.6%, having a pluriactive action mainly, followed by Integumentary use, that is, for healing, toning, among others. If there is a transmission of knowledge from the elderly to the young population, this is minimal thanks to the migration of young people to the city and the death of the elderly, which is why it is concluded that it is necessary to generate conservation strategies for this knowledge. as is the illustrated booklet of medicinal plants used in the municipality of Alpujarra Tolima.Ítem Evaluación de crecimiento y desarrollo de la especie Polylepis quadrijuga, en tres tratamientos con fitohormonas en vivero de alta montaña del Parque Nacional Pisba(Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas) Castellanos Ardila, Laura Natalia; Giraldo Quintero , Gustavo; Giraldo Quintero, Gustavo [0000-0003-3573-4154]The study aimed to evaluate the efficiency of different phytohormones in the propagation of Polylepis quadrijuga both in seeds and cuttings in order to improve propagation techniques. For the conservation and restoration of this high-risk species, trials were carried out using 3 types of phytormones kinetin naptalenacetic acid and lentil water different aspects of growth and development were evaluated. Including germination, stem length and diameter, root development and the formation of root primordia In seeds and cuttings, the germination of Polylepis quadrijuga was 1.25 % and 3.75% The phytormones applied did not show a significant effect on germination or the growth of stems or roots. The chi-square test indicated that there were no significant differences between the treatments, suggesting a high proportion of non-viable seeds as a limiting factor. Hormonal treatments showed a low rooting rate with rooting percentages of 0.83 in trial one and 10% in trial 2. The LE 2 and LE 3 treatments showed a higher initial rate of leaf survival, although this effect was temporary with a generalized mar chiting at 90 days, the AE3 treatment was the most effective in the formation of root primordia, followed by LE 2 and L 3, the control group also showed a significant number of root primordia. The phytormonos applied did not show significant improvements in seed germination or in the root growth of cuttings, however some treatments such as AE 3 ILE 3 showed potential in the formation of root primortia and in the initial survival of the leaves.Ítem Redes de interacción de aves y plantas de la Reserva Umbral Cultural Horizontes, cerros orientales de Bogotá D.C. Un acercamiento a la importancia y conservación de las aves(Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas) Franco Díaz, Angie Sofia; Giraldo Quintero, Gustavo; Giraldo Quintero, Gustavo [0000-0003-3573-4154]This work is carried out to determine the existing ecological interactions between birds and plants that inhabit the reserve areas of the eastern hills adjacent to the city of Bogotá, through the method of interaction networks since, with this, we can make an analysis of how the networks of interactions are structured and also what role the species are playing in the ecosystem. It also identifies different patterns of behavior of key species for the stability of interaction networks. The above, from observation and monitoring of birds and identification of plants associated with perching, feeding, agonistic behavior, and nesting activities of the birds of the reserve. Sampling was carried out during 3 months of the year, in which visits were made twice a week in the different sampling areas, where three observation points were distributed 50 meters from each other. For the analysis of results, the R study programs were used with the Bipartite, Network, and Vegan packages, used to graph interaction networks, and the PAST program to calculate the diversity indices and rarefaction curves. With this information, several analyses could be made on the structure of the interaction network where several patterns, such as nesting, modularity, symmetry, and low connectedness were evidenced. In addition to identifying it as a robust network in the face of the different disturbances that may affect the ecosystem, as well as finding key species such as the Colibri coruscans, Diglossa humeralis, Colibri cyanotus, and Diglossa lafresnayii which are essential for the permanence and maintenance of the entire community of birds and plants of the reserve.
