Ítem Método holoestésico de educación musical intersensorialidades que reformulan concepciones de discapacidad sensorialAlzate Díaz, Giovani Francisco; Lambuley Alférez, Edgar RicardoFrom a pedagogical experience in 2014 of musical training and singing for students with hearing impairments, the need arises to reformulate social and cultural conceptions of disability in artistic practices. From this conceptual Holoesthesia emerges. Etymologically, this word is divided in his root Holo that comes from the holistic concept and the complement esthesia that’s the Latin term used to define perception. I propose Holoesthesia as an evolution of synesthesia and esthesia. Holoesthesia uses other forms of representation to intersensorialities that are outside the disciplinary canon, in an integral exercise by linking perceptions, to methodically construct a set of metaphors that together symbolize the same signifier for all the sens. The development of electronic devices and digital applications has allowed the application of the Holoesthesic Method of Music Education, in artistic and educational contexts, emerging there a synergy in the symbolic construction of perceptions and resilience in sensory capacities concerning the learning of art, and particularly music. Thinking about intersensorialities having as a reference the decolonial option, allows to reconsider the sensorialities, the perception, the sensory capacities and other forms of biopolitics of the senses that by discovering in this an atrophy, a systematic deterioration of the intersensorialities due to the esthetic discipline of Eurocentric art, which extends its colonial modus operandi, thus reproducing exclusion by sensory deficiencies in academia and art.
