In the present degree work, a mathematization process linked to an environmental problem is addressed, focused on the training of mathematics teachers. Where, based on the experience of two undergraduate students in mathematics, a concern is formulated about how mathematization processes can be a means or tool in linking reality with mathematics, and how the execution of said process can be be a strategy implemented by teachers so that students give use and meaning to learning mathematics. Therefore, an environmental problem is presented where the influence of the pollution of the Bogotá River on the Magdalena River is analyzed, given its confluence. Consequently, different programs are used to carry out tests on the models used, both deterministic and stochastic, in order to verify and support the initial speculation, thus promoting that the appropriate application of mathematization processes can enrich the process of learning mathematics, promoting understanding of its relevance in real contexts.Ítem ¡Qué en Piojó viva la escuela! Aplicación de actuaciones educativas de éxito como prácticas para la inclusión y cohesión social, en la educación rural de Piojó, AtlánticoRios Quevedo, Geraldine Patricia; Forero Poveda, Alberto; 0000-0002-0452-7876During the 2020 pandemic, education in rural communities in Colombia was severely affected due to a lack of internet connectivity, leaving students without access to school classrooms for around a year and a half. To address this situation, the Ministry of National Education implemented the "Viva la Escuela" program, with the aim of mobilizing university students and senior normal students in their final year to support educational processes on a voluntary basis in the most vulnerable areas of the country. The University Distrital Francisco José de Caldas joined the first implementation of the "Viva la Escuela" program, allowing students to volunteer as part of their internship. The internship assignment took place in the town of Aguas Vivas, located in the municipality of Piojó, Atlántico. The assigned educational institution was the San Antonio del Piojó IED School, which serves students from transition to fifth grade. Throughout the internship, various challenges were faced and significant experiences were experienced in the professional training of the intern, which is reflected in the development of the report. The internship sought to contribute to the reduction of educational gaps and improve the socio-emotional well-being of students in the rural community of Piojó, Atlántico.
