Resumen
The present investigation is entitled "Bridges between traditional local knowledge (CLT) and school scientific knowledge (CCE) in environmental education: Case of the Gymnasium Bolívar school in the city of Bogotá D.C.", guided by the central question: What are the bridges that are configured between traditional local knowledge (CLT) and school scientific knowledge (CCE) in a classroom experience, taking as a specific framework the teaching of environmental education? The previous question arose from the reflection on how in current education there is evidence of a growing motivation to take a turn in science teaching "in relation to the recognition of the other and of the other at the time of developing the class" (Bernal, Molina and Melo, 2018) (p. 2), it is thus that some trends have been developed focused on the dialogue between different types of knowledge, for which it is worth emphasizing that the classroom must become a space that allows to know and value the ideas of the other, especially towards the teaching of environmental education, in favor of caring for the environment through sustainable strategies.
