Resumen
The four-hands piano duo, currently understood as a chamber music format in which two pianists play the same piano, it allows us to think of its pedagogical foundation as a current column in piano education. The creation of the pedagogical character of the practice of the four hands piano duo is proposed as a possibility of approaching piano education from another perspective, from the identification of the pedagogical features that are expressed in practice, having as investigative input the historical references, configured as Historical Protagonists and the experiential references of the practice of the ensemble "Aulos Dúo" enlazando diálogos interdisciplinares entre el ejercicio técnico-interpretativo y pedagógico. For this reason, three pedagogical dimensions were stipulated according to the practice of four hands piano: Aesthetic, Corpo-spatial and Socio-affective, and categories were developed to understand the pedagogical exercise such as: the asymmetric unit relationship, the polyphonic format, body coordination, gestures, dialectical challenge and close relationship.
