Resumen
Next, the internship degree modality is proposed in the District Institute of Recreation and Sport, specifically in the Office of Local Affairs, where support and accompaniment will be provided to diagnose the needs in the different localities that make up the Capital District for the sector of Sport, Recreation, Physical Activity and Scenarios and sports equipment. This support seeks to consolidate and apply the learning acquired during the curriculum of the Sports Administration program, as well as to complete an effective training with this introduction to the working world of the DRAFE sector. There are rules that specify the rights of the community in general, for the topic to be addressed the main ones are: the right to citizen participation, linked to planning and development, the right to sport in all its recreational and competitive manifestations that finally constitute the integral formation of people, and in turn, it is highlighted as an essential purpose of the state the service to the community ensuring effectiveness of the principles and duties enshrined in the constitution. In order to successfully fulfill the chosen degree modality, functions were performed within the office of local affairs of the IDRD, where we actively participated in meetings of councils in localities of the district, in the same way we listened to the needs of the community in relation to the DRAFE sector and in turn the Institute's communications to the community. Another of the functions was to increase citizen participation in the elections to the local Culture and Sports Councils through training and support to citizens who were mostly unaware of the process. The practice inside the office of local affairs, proved to be too productive for our professional training, it allowed us to know the main operation of the institution and how it relates to each of the sectors, as well as the same organization of these sectors that make up the environment managed by the District Institute of Recreation and Sport. We found interesting ways of relating the community with the institution, which is the reason why the Local Affairs Office works, where we constantly observed the importance of each of the meetings, local councils, accountabilities and from there, the importance of citizen participation. The work we accomplished as interns was related to the support to the promotion of public policies and participation in them, as well as a general diagnosis and the beginning of a project that allows us to carry out a long-term work that contributes to the search for a city with identified needs of the sports sector and that through the documentary evidence that will be developed, we can act more effectively. Finally, the internship leaves important lessons for training not only as professionals, but also as individual citizens. The slight fact of knowing the needs of the community, the differences between each of the sectors and that same need to reach each point in different ways, makes them look for strategies in what they have learned during the career to solve these small problems.
