Análisis De La Formulación De La Política Pública De Bienestar Animal En El Distrito Capital Desde El Contexto Biocéntrico

Abstract

From a theoretical count on anthropocentric and biocentric approaches that the tension in the relationship between the concepts of nature, human beings and development as well as discussions on the rights of nature and animals, this degree work aims to analyze the formulation of Policy Protection and Animal Welfare (PPPYBA) undertaken in Bogotá during 2012-2016, through the document review both the national press and newsletter of public institutions, in order to demonstrate the changes that have been institutions with respect to the new paradigms of nature and the tensions which may arise. It was evident that the Administration "Bogotá Humana" denotes a positive change in actions that tend to defend the welfare of animals. Because there is greater recognition by the State in protecting animals and because during this period various actors led changes for animals involved in Bogota.
