Abstract

The present investigation orients to the exploration and characterisation of conceptions on living thing it in students of degree in biology of the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas (UDFJC), in relation with the surrounding academic cultures in this project curricular, understanding that the conceptions that have are them understanding that the conceptions that have the students on the alive are part of a process of personal and social construction along his life and do not arise of spontaneous way with the new acquisition of knowledges. Therefore, it is important to take them into account for his process of training like future professors to identify alternative ideas, giving the possibility to validate postures nourished from his experience and cultural context.
