Ítem El apoyo en la interpretación musical cantada: una aproximación teórica desde la dimensión comunicativa expresivaRamos González, Nadya Geraldine; González-Romero, NadyaThe results of a documentary theoretical inquiry process are reported. The research question was: How to understand ‘support’ in the context of body functioning for musical interpretation? First of all, the definitions proposed in the literature consulted for this term have been identified, compared and classified. Based on what was found and knowledge derived from other sources from language studies and research on the relationship between emotional processing and music, it was possible to understand that support for singing transcends the mere action of singing; This occurs as a result of the emotional states that the singer seeks to communicate with his interpretation. Specifically, 'support' was characterized as a complex that implies, on the one hand, a reflective bodily function that is generated as an effect of emotional states consistent with the communicative needs of the interpreter and, on the other, of their conscious decisions supported by professional handling of musical techniques. In addition, the 4-level model of Sardi (2014) was adapted and complemented, including the expressive communicative intention of the interpreter and modifying the order of the levels, trying to capture the sequential order of the production of the sung voice.
