Ítem Descripción y evolución de la estación de trabajo Ableton Live Uso práctico en la grabación de la obra orquestal El TalismánClaros Ulloa, Steven Camilo; Arroyave, MyriamNowadays, the musical production develops in two kind of ambits, the analog and the digital one. Keeping this in mind, this document addresses topics about the production of music throughout digital media, specifically with the Ableton live Workstation, emphasizing in recognizing, understanding and describing technically the characteristics and functions that this work station has, making a breve analysis about the limitations that the software had and how, gradually, these limitations were diminishing to become tools that improve the workflow. Another point of the text explains the evolution and changes that the program has had throughout its seventeen years of trajectory, showing the tools that has been incorporated progressively in Ableton Live since its first versión in 2001, until the actual versión of 2018. As part of the degree work, a practice was also done throughout the recording of the orchestral composition El Talismán, revealing the problems that emerge when faced with the process of pre-production, production and post production of a piece of music, reflecting on the topics explained in the previous chapters and applying them during the process of recording the musical work, who, previously was formally and structurally analyzed, explaining the relationship between the text of the book (written by Stephen King and Peter Straub), and the musical intentions developed during the musical piece.
