This document is an approach to 8-bit video games, their music and the chiptunes genre, in which a bit of their history and context is told, followed by an analysis of six songs selected for a concert in which the electric bass is the protagonist, interpreting the main melodies and accompaniment with tapping and fingerstyle techniques. The concert songs are performed in a rock format with guitar, drums and bass.
