Ítem Adaptación de elementos del banjo de cinco cuerdas, la música de Earl Scruggs y el Bluegrass a la guitarra eléctricaCastañeda Rios, Kevin Santiago; Agudelo Valencia, María del PilarIn this thesis the purpose is to demonstrate and carry out the process of adapting musical and technical elements of the five-string banjo and bluegrass music to the electric guitar. This is achieved through the interpretation of two songs by the American musician Earl Scruggs, who played the five-string banjo and was a very important musician in bluegrass. The history, people and musicians involved in the creation of this musical genre are recognized in this work. At the same time, the history and importance of the five-string banjo player Earl Scruggs is highlighted. Earl Scruggs' three-fingered playing technique is studied and adapted to the electric guitar, in the process we can find parallels and a dialogue between the instruments and their techniques. The musical pieces selected for the adaptation of these elements are Foggy Mountain Breakdown and Cripple Creek. Both are important songs in the story and construction of the bluegrass genre, and concurrently are indispensable musical pieces of the five-string banjo. The above is discussed and supported by a musical interpretation performance with a bluegrass musical ensemble which consist of electric guitar, fiddle, acoustic guitar and double bass.Ítem Análisis comparativo del bullerengue y la rumba cubana y su aplicación en la creación de una pieza musicalSimarra Nieto, William Leonardo; Agudelo Valencia, María del PilarThis paper investigates and cross analyzes two cultural expressions from Cuba and Colombia, the Cuban Rumba and Bullerengue. Considering the pedagogical, didactic, musical and martial-performatic aspects, eleven stages of the process were designed. Such stages were executed sequentially and/or in parallel, taking into account the interpreters and a multilevel assembly. The design of the activities was carried out in agreement with the available resources (resources of different kinds) and with the stage of the process being developed. As main record, a field diary was written. This diary allows to view the activities record in a systematic way, in addition to this, has the potential to be a reference for other marching band instructors due it shows the strengths and weaknesses of the developed pedagogical process. The development of a scrutiny of stages unveil the technical-instrumental, of assemble and choreographic contributions, as well as relevant considerations of each stage. The pedagogical process was developed in a complete and satisfactory way. Was achieved the formation of a marching band in a juvenile semi-special category with varied repertoires of basic and medium level, and with the capacity to perform choreographic revues. Became evident how the band has the ability to positively impact other aspects of the students' school life (academic, disciplinary, social and vocational aspects), to the point of being able to become a pedagogical tool for the institution (which for performance purposes is not ideal). The developed activities were distributed along the 2019 school year and and subjected to the scholar calendar of the school.Ítem Plan de marketing para la difusión en medios digitales del single Sigo tu voz del grupo de rock Nave FónicaCastillo Cruz, Andrés Dario; Agudelo Valencia, María del PilarThis final project aims to achieve the elaboration of a marketing plan, which will support the coverage of the single Sigo tu Voz from the band Nave Fónica through the digital media platforms: Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and Spotify. It was thought as a pedagogical tool to contribute and enhance the learning process of viola beginners, taking as referents The Suzuki Method by Shinishi Suzuki, Principles of violin; Playing and teaching by Ivan Galamian; Essential Elements for Strings by Michael Allen, Robert Gillespie and Pamela Tellejohn. These methods, along with some etudes of my authorship, present some of the musical and instrumental basics that are essential for viola learning. This proposal includes repertoire, pedagogical and bibliographic materials that were used as the fundamental teaching tools. The students’ learning process at San Carlos School starts from the preliminary steps due to their non-previous approach to music training. Lesson undertake different viola methods, some of them are adaptations from violin methods for beginners. Additionally, we had scales training as the main support for repertoire learning.Ítem Sistematización de una experiencia coral como propuesta a la mejora del clima laboral de los trabajadores del área Servicio en la empresa DBelenAhumada Llanos, Gustavo Enrique; Agudelo Valencia, María del PilarThe formation of choral groups has been a methodology used to work in different contexts that at first glance seem not to be related to music.
